I have been collecting photographic film from all over the world, including Japan, on auction sites for about 20 years.

Older photos in my collection include those stored on glass dry plates.

As the film slowly deteriorates, this photo exhibition aims to bring a part of my accumulated collection out to the world once again.

Viewers will likely appreciate seeing once again not only moments that can never be reproduced, but also the background of the eras, clothing, and hairstyles. Although it is not possible to know who took these old photographs and for what purpose, like detectives,

we can still enjoy peering into the details and deciphering the narratives.
